Ruben Garcia currently serves as Market Director of Facility Management at CommonSpirit Health (2024–Present). In this role, he directs facility management functions for one of the nation’s largest health systems.
His prior healthcare experience includes Life Safety Surveyor for AAAHC (part-time), Director of Facilities Management at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital (2022–2024), Director of Life Safety Operations at ACME ARCHITECTURAL HARDWARE, INC (2019–2021), and Facilities Director at CHI St. Luke’s Health – Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center (2013–2019).
Ruben holds the Certified Life Safety Specialist – Healthcare Facility Manager certification from NFPA (issued May 2016) and a DHI – Door Security + Safety Professionals certification. He is an active member of ASHE and NFPA.
