Michael currently serves as Senior Lead Engineer at P1 Group (January 2022–Present). In this role, he directs maintenance strategies, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs for healthcare clients in Kansas and Missouri.
His prior positions include Maintenance Lead Engineer at P1 Group (March 2021–December 2021), Building Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center (October 2018–February 2021), and HVAC Technician at KU Medical Center (May 2018–September 2018).
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Kansas State University (2013–2017) and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Johnson County Community College (2014–2017). His certifications include Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) from ASHE (April 2024), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) from ASHE (April 2024), and Six Sigma Green Belt from Kansas State University (May 2025).
Michael's hands-on experience in healthcare engineering and facility maintenance, including his involvement with the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), positions him to contribute practical insights to Healthcare Facilities Network discussions on the aging crisis in employees, buildings, and infrastructure.
