Jim's previous experience includes Manager of Facilities Operations at Advocate Aurora Health (2017–2021) and Regulatory Compliance Safety Officer at the same system (2014–2017). Earlier roles include Maintenance Mechanic at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and Facilities Technician positions.
Jim holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration/Management from Benedictine University (2017–2020) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Carthage College (2004–2009). He is a Certified Life Safety Specialist for Healthcare (CLSS-HC) and holds multiple NFPA and fire safety credentials.
